P-Thugg of Chromeo demonstrates the KORG microKORG.

At their "In the Studio with Future Music" session, you can see they use Adam A7X monitors.

At 22:30, you can see P-Thugg using an SM58 with the Roland VP-330 Vocoder Plus.

In the music video of "Bonafied Lovin" you can see Dave 1 playing a black Gibson Firebird Studio Guitar. The position markers are points instead of bars, this shows that it is a Studio Firebird.

In the Chromeo NPR Tiny Desk Concert, during their set, Dave 1 can be seen playing the Ibanez PS Series PS120 Paul Stanley Signature Electric Guitar Gloss Black

Chromeo made use of Boss DS-1 Distortion on the track 'Night by Night'.

Throughout this video, Chromeo can be seen using Cubase as their DAW. At various points (e.g 22:01), only 8 insert slots can be seen in the channel settings, meaning the latest possible version they could be using is Cubase Pro 9.

"This one was one of my first also, probably the third synth I bought. It's been with us since 'She's in Control.' It did us good. 'Woman Friend' is that, and stuff on second album too. Lots of leads, lots of basses. You can instantly go from a great bass to great Minimoog sounding leads. It's simpler and it doesn't take as much room also. It's got a lot of hidden subby low-end that if you want to have that power at the bottom of your track then you have it in there. The Moog Prodigy actually cuts through more than the Minimoog."

What's really amazing about the LinnDrum is that we haven't really ever used it. P has it just to have it for the archives. What's amazing about the LinnDrum is, well obviously the sounds because you hear them like you do in a Prince record, but also it's the internal sequencer because you have that groove that's just like the Prince - that kind of internal swing. You can't really recreate that with anything else. But we don't sequence on those machines, we use an old-school 90s computer sequencer. So we have our own - just have our own groove, as cheesy as that sounds."

In a May 2022 Instagram story, Chromeo's Dave 1 featured the Boss PH-3 Phase Shifter.

In this YouTube video for FACTmagazine, Chromeo give a tour of their Los Angeles studio. The Prophet 6 can be seen at multiple times in the background, for the first time at 0:12.
