He said: ‘Well if you want the authentic John Lennon guitar sound for slide…’ So I said, ‘ok, that would be something fun to try.’"

During the European Tour 2023, Ira Kaplan played a Fender American Pro Telecaster with a Rosewood Fingerboard in 3-Color Sunburst, as seen in a user-uploaded photo.
