Joshua Hayward's Gear
The bright yellow pedal near his hand
Joshua plays this guitar very often and is seen playing it in the music video for "Who Can Say?".
Joshua's pedalboard is constantly changing. many pedals that were once on his pedalboard may be replaced with new pedals on another picture. the Electro-Harmonix HOG (with associated foot-controller), though, can be seen on his pedalboard on practically any given photograph of his board. given the dimension of The Horrors' music, it wouldn't be stunning that the HOG would be a frequently-used tool by Joshua.
At around 19:26 Joshua starts talking about the Vox AC30.

"Relentlessly breaking new musical ground with The Horrors for over a decade, Josh Hayward's reverb-drenched fusions of noise and melody have made him a reference point for a whole new generation of bands in search of left-field guitar tones. Fidelity Guitars are privileged to announce this new Signature Model, specifically designed to help you realise the sounds lurking at the limits of your imagination."
In the Tumblr photo, Joshua Hayward is seen modifying a Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar. This appears to be its only documented appearance, suggesting it might have been acquired specifically for this project. Notably, the guitar's headstock logo is scratched off, indicating it could be a Squier or Stratocaster copy.
Joshua's pedalboard is diverse with both purshases and customs. Taking a look, one can see just outside the board is a Boss Stereo Volume pedal.
Just next to the Boss Volume Pedal is a foot controller. This one is specifically for the EHX Hog, as is with that design.
