When creating his winning entry for the Pendulum remix competition in 2010, Madeon was using the Akai MPK49 MIDI Keyboard.
"I was never sold on hardware analog synths but I just got a Bass Station II and i'm having a blast. Good stuff."

Image-Line Maximus is a software multiband compressor used by Madeon for more control over his mixes. In the tweet, Madeon responds to a fan by unveiling Maximus as one of the tools in his arsenal for his multiband needs.
