Shaun Morgan

Shaun Morgan has a signature model that he plays which is manufactured by Schecter.

According to this page on the Ernie Ball website, Shaun now uses Music Man Stingray RS guitars. He can be seen playing one in the recent "String Theory" that Ernie Ball made about him.

This was his main guitar in the early days of Seether all the way up to Disclaimer II. This can also be seen in the Fine Again music video. Replaced by the Schecter PT guitars.

At 0:07 in this live performance video, Shaun Morgan can be seen playing an Alvarez FD60 with a cherry sunburst design.

In a live performance of "Words As Weapons" during Walmart Soundcheck, Shaun Morgan is seen using a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier 150-Watt Tube Head, as captured in a video by Edoardo Picozzi on YouTube.

These were his main guitars of choice throughout Karma & Effect - Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces. These were replaced by Shaun's signature Schecter guitars.

At 3:50 you see Shaun's rig right behind him, and those are definitely not the Dual recs, as they're too small and right at 3:50 you can just barely make out the "mini" on the badge

In this Guitar World article from 2003, Shaun mentions the amps he used in the studio for "Disclaimer," he says "And for the clean sounds we used a Vox AC30."

Shaun used a J Mascis signature Jazzmaster in the later stages of the "Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces" touring cycle.

"I use the Mesa Triple Rectifier and have a couple of heads, and I run the guitar through a couple of pedals, but the distortion I use is mainly the distortion running through the head of the cabs. I have a Zakk Wylde Wah pedal, an H2O Chorus pedal, a Boss Digital Delay, a noise gate and that’s about it for now. I might put in a flanger pedal for this tour, but I haven’t decided yet what the final pedal configuration will be for the tour." Shaun Morgan interview with Reverb.com Nov 10, 2014. Shaun used Solo-6 Standard during the record of "Holding Onto Strings Better Left To Fray". You can see it in "Fur Cue" studio video. He also played "Fine Again" on this guitar in 2011 Walmart Soundcheck. Since then he used it live on song "Tonight" which is in Drop B. Last year this golden singlecut Schecter became his main Drop C guitar.

Shaun used the Schecter Guitar Research ORLEANS Acoustic Guitar during his NatCon16 Awards Honoree show

Shaun Morgan used the PRS Standard 22 Platinum guitar for drop tunings in Seether's early days, as seen in the video "Seether - Hang on" by jvalen82 on YouTube.

In Shaun's Ernie Ball String Theory video, he mentions that his pedalboard is getting smaller and smaller and it shows a picture of it at around 4:25. It is shown next to an EHX POG.

In a live performance at Graspop 2018, Shaun Morgan of Seether prominently used the Schecter PT Apocalypse guitar. According to the footage by Reminho on YouTube, this guitar was a key part of his setup throughout 2018. Notably, it was later gifted to a fan and is believed to have been passed on to another individual who still owns it.
