Very cool, hot rodded Plexi style with modern studio ready features.

This discontinued model was formerly the flagship of the 3rd Power amplification line. I did not get into the pyramid cabinets or anything, but with a 4x12 and greenbacks, this amp delivers everything from classic cleans, to cranked plexi breakup, to EVH brown tones to modern high gain. The gain knob circuit is unique and allows for some great tones with the turn of a single knob. The amp also features a second master volume, and a bold switch which activates an "after the console" sort of EQ sounds which I find to be very useful. A hidden feature is a filtering system that doesn't send ultra high frequencies to your speaker cab that get generated into heat, and therefore change your sound after long hours of playing. Once of my favourite pieces of gear!
