Aguilar Tone Hammer 700 Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Aguilar Tone Hammer 700 delivers impressive power in a lightweight package, making it a standout for bassists seeking versatility and portability. With a highly usable drive function and clear, defined tones, it excels in live settings. However, the absence of an all-in-one EQ knob and a headphone out is a notable drawback, as is the small mute button that can be hard to spot during performances. While it shines in various scenarios, including pairing with both passive and active basses, some players may feel limited by the lack of integrated tone-shaping options. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those needing robust amplification without the bulk.

In this video you can see Tord use the Aguilar Tone Hammer 700, but it could also be a TH 500. It's hard to tell which model it is, but because he's using such a powerful 810 cab, it would rather be the TH700.
