Review: APB DynaSonics ProRack–House H1020 — AudioTechnology

audiotechnology.com

The APB-DynaSonics ProRack House H1020 dazzles with its wealth of features and stellar audio quality, making it a strong contender for any serious mixer enthusiast. With an impressive array of inputs, smooth faders, and a standout EQ section, it’s designed for both versatility and functionality. However, the rear panel’s design might be cumbersome for some users, and the unique monitor routing option could leave you scratching your head. While it excels in sound and layout, the ProRack may not be the most intuitive option for beginners. Overall, it’s a solid choice for seasoned pros who appreciate a well-crafted analog mixer.

In this interview with inverted audio JakoJako says "I asked friends on mix-downs about certain elements of a track, especially when I have worked on the track for so long and I can’t figure out why the sound is not becoming clearer. I changed my setup a little bit and I am trying to do as much as I can through my APB Pro-Rack Dynasonics 1020 mixer where I would like to do more analogue mixing but I still do the surgical stuff in Ableton. Sometimes I run things out of Ableton into a stereo channel in the mixer and play with the EQs. It just sounds better I think." The mixer is also visible in the photo's accompanying the article.
