Critic Reviews

Digitech Bass Squeeze

ovnilab.com

The DigiTech X-Series Bass Squeeze is a letdown, plagued by an unavoidable noise gate that disrupts the signal like a faulty faucet. Despite DigiTech's collaboration with dbx, the digital execution falls short of classic analog expectations. Its dual-band compression offers little solace; settings lead to unpleasant artificial tones. Only one configuration vaguely mimics a dbx unit, while most others amplify noise to intolerable levels. Construction is what you'd expect for its price, but the lack of "true bypass" and overall poor sound quality make it a hard pass. Opt for the Boss LMB-3 for a more reliable choice.

DIGITECH COMPRESSOR DUAL BAND

Bass without compressor isn't working at same level. Necessary. 4 knobs permit to work in dual band and 4 frequencies. So you can take advantage to best compression and also get a boost on the amp channel.
