Description
Introducing the Charvel Pro-Mod San Dimas Bass PJ V - Platinum Pearl, an electrifying fusion of vintage design and modern innovation. Inspired by the original San Dimas basses of the late 1970s, this 5-string hot rod is built to defy convention and exceed the demands of seasoned players.
The sleek alder body, characteristic of Charvel's DNA, sports a deep cutaway that allows effortless access to the upper register. Meanwhile, the super-thin bolt-on maple speed neck, featuring a caramelized treatment and graphite reinforcement, is crafted for rapid, smooth play and easy adjustment. The neck is paired with a 12"-16" compound radius caramelized maple fingerboard which gradually flattens from nut to heel, ensuring a fluid playing experience.
This bass showcases a powerful blend of DiMarzio and Charvel 5-string pickup voices. The Area J DP551 at the bridge provides well-rounded punch, while the Charvel 5-String Split-Coil P in the middle delivers classic warmth, kick, and clear tone. The inclusion of a 3-band active EQ, pickup blend control, and a master volume control with push/pull selector showcases versatile electronics, offering you the ability to tailor your sound to perfection.
