Critic Reviews

X-2 Review | Cort | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Cort X-2 is a solid choice for budget-conscious musicians seeking a strong metal sound but falls short for those wanting versatility. While it shines with power sound pickups and is praised for its playability, reviewers note it struggles with clean tones and may not satisfy players looking for a broader range. Many recommend it for beginners or those focused on heavier genres, but seasoned players might quickly outgrow its capabilities. Overall, it's a decent entry-level guitar that excels in specific styles without offering much beyond that.

Cort X-2 Review | Chorder.com

chorder.com

The Cort X-2 attempts to charm with vibrant finishes and a beginner-friendly design, but ultimately falls short in quality. While it features a classic humbucker setup and a comfortable neck, the cheap die-cast tuners and basic materials detract from its overall appeal. With a low reliability rating and concerns about durability, this model may be suitable for novices, but serious players might want to look elsewhere. It's a guitar that offers style over substance, making it a risky choice for long-term investment.

Great guitar for beginners

I chose this one as my first guitar when I started playing and now, more than 5 years later, I think it was the best choice I could do. After a few modifications (pickups, bridge and tuner) this is my main guitar and feels and sounds amazing to me.
