Cort G200 Electric Guitar Review | Guitar Jar

guitarjar.co.uk

The Cort G200 is a solid choice for beginners, with a comfortable neck and impressive clean sound for its $150 price. Its tuning stability defies the typical woes of budget guitars with tremolo bars. However, the guitar falters under heavy distortion, lacking the punch needed for metal or hard rock. While reliability issues appear in the long term, like fret wear and unexpected radio interference, its clean bluesy tone and affordable price make it a commendable entry-level instrument.

Unbeatable Price-Quality Ratio

The guitar is quite heavy, and that's good in terms of sound, it has quite good sustain and tone, well adjusted and in good condition you can achieve wonderful things, and even more so with a good set of strings. Mine was modified with the Gilmour Mod and with a killswitch, it couldn't be more versatile.
