Cort Unveils Upgraded X700 Duality II Guitar - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

Cort's X700 Duality II boasts a stunning flamed maple top and Fishman Fluence pickups, delivering a versatile sound palette with a notable third voice option. While its construction and tonal balance impress, some players may find the CFA-III Tremolo system less intuitive than expected. The guitar shines in both looks and playability, yet it may not feel groundbreaking for seasoned musicians seeking something truly innovative. Overall, the X700 Duality II is a solid choice but may leave some wanting more in terms of originality.

Great specs, not so great QC

When I got mine, the floating bridge was being pulled against the bottom cavity due to the tremolo springs/claw being too tight. Fixed that- no big deal. Then, several months after only home use, the switch started malfunctioning. After an unfortunate amount of money spent trying to fix the electronics issue, the guitar now works perfectly and is a joy to play. Sounds and plays great.
