EBS The Drive, Black Haze, and Drive Me Crazy Overdrive Pedals – MusicPlayers.com

musicplayers.com

EBS's Black Haze drive pedal delivers a compelling blend of fuzz and overdrive, making it a standout in their new line. Its tonal versatility shines, especially with the Deep setting enhancing low mids. However, extreme settings can lead to undesirable clipping, which demands careful handling. While the pedal excels for guitarists, bassists might miss a blend circuit for optimal use. Overall, priced competitively, the Black Haze is a strong option for those seeking rich, nuanced tones, albeit with a few caveats for the uninitiated.
