Friends of crunchy and open sounding drives: Give it a try!
I stumbled across the Santa Ana and bought a used one by chance to compare it to some of it's more open sounding competition. It is an enormous versatile pedal which can be used to achieve similar quality tones like the ones coming from a Mad Professor Royal Blue or a Nobels ODR-1 plus there is a presence control. A huge advantage particularly if you do not want to lose the high-end sparkle and twang. The second voicing, the true bypass/buffered bypass switch and the A to B or B to A (!) boost function makes it even more useful. A nice pedal for all fans of transparent and gritty drives!
