Description

An easily controlled and highly sensitive wah for the bass that has built-in fuzz.

Designed especially for bass, this wah/fuzz pedal provides the smoothest response and sounds that go all the way from greasy funk to rude growl. The low pass filter control adds bottom while the fuzz gives the wah extra grit. Whether anchoring the bottom or stepping out aggressively, the new Crying Bass Wah/Fuzz lets a bassist express themselves with an organic sound and feel.

Electro-Harmonix Crying Bass Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Electro-Harmonix Crying Bass is a wah pedal with a twist, ditching traditional pots for a sleek motion-based control system. Priced under $100, it combines wah, fuzz, and low-pass filter effects, making it a versatile tool for bassists. The wah effect offers expressive depth, while the fuzz and filter add value. However, its sensitivity can be a drawback, as unintended activations may occur on unstable surfaces. Despite this, its innovative design and sound quality make it a standout choice for budget-conscious bass players seeking diverse tonal options.

Good with minor issues

This is the sort of pedal that one has to either have on for the whole song and tailor the sound around it or just not use it at all, as it completely alters the signal, making it far louder and more trebley. The fuzz is very specialist and lacks any form of bass frequency. Overall though, it serves it's purpose well
