versatile practice tool
I just started learning to play the guitar and of course one of the big questions is what kind of gear should I get and what kind of gear do I even need, and especially when it comes to Amp's, there are endless options. I think Headphone Amp's in general are really nice for practicing, and this one is pretty versatile. I use it plugged into my Guitar with Headphones (it comes with an App where you can choose between preexisting effect presets, but you can also create your own and even upload them or download other peoples presets from the library) but also as an audio interface for my laptop to use virtual amp sims or even record, which is very nice because I don't have to buy a completely separate interface for now. There are a lot of amps and pedals to choose from in the app, depending on the tone you want, the only issue with this Headphone Amp is that it has a little bit of constant white noise which isn't noticeable for cleaner presets but a lot more noisy on higher gain settings, this is something that can be reduced by adjusting some of the settings or (when using it to connect to a computer) using a noise gate though. Overall, this is an amazing tool for me as a beginner, but I would say for pretty much anyone who is looking for a small, portable practice amp with a couple of extra features.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
My favourite go-to presets from the app are the clean fender one for clean sounds, as well as Metal 2000 for heavier stuff.
