Description

The Custom ES-335 Reissue 1964 with Bigsby by Gibson

The Gibson Custom 1964 ES-335 Reissue (Light Aged, Vintage Burst, Bigsby) is a high-end semi-hollow electric guitar that faithfully recreates a rare mid-1960s ES-335 configuration. Built by the Gibson Custom Shop, it features a Murphy Lab Light Aged finish that replicates decades of natural wear while maintaining excellent playability. A standout feature is the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece paired with the “Custom Made” plaque, a distinctive vintage-correct detail. Its tone comes from unpotted Custombucker pickups, delivering warm, open, and highly dynamic PAF-style sounds ideal for blues, jazz, and classic rock. With period-accurate construction and premium components, it serves both as a professional instrument and a collectible piece.

at 5:42, They flash a shot of Louis holding this one and not his usual or the other. referencing the Gibson website, this is the only hollow-body with that color and a whammy. It appears, though, that Cato switched the pickups for two dogear p90s.
