Love it!

This particular Les Paul screams. It is not your typical Standard. With the Burstbucker 1 & 2 Pickups, this guitar reacts to every little thing you do. The ebony fretboard really gives it smooth action and really snappy (almost like a maple neck). I love the AAA top on it and the fact that it doesn't have a pick guard (not really into pick guards on Gibson). I have played metal to jazz fusion with this guitar and I have been nothing but pleased with how it plays and sounds. They didn't make too many models of this particular one, but I think I got a really good one!

A solidly built (emphasis on 'solid') Les Paul

The 2004 Limited Edition Les Paul Standard is a pretty decent example of a Gibson Les Paul. No weight relief on this one, coming in at an even 10 pounds; it definitely gets left in the case/stand on days where my back is bothering me. Tuning stability is okay, but nothing to write home about, especially for a stop tailpiece. But the Burstbucker Pros sound excellent, the Pacific Reef finish is gorgeous, and the 50's profile neck is wonderfully comfortable especially when paired with the glass smooth ebony fretboard.
