Description

The EGF-1000 is a Vintage 1979–1982 Les Paul Made in Japan by Greco

The Greco EGF-1000 is a high-end Japanese electric guitar from the early 1980s, part of Greco’s celebrated “Super Real” series known for its exceptionally accurate vintage reproductions. Built at the Fujigen factory, it was designed as a premium Les Paul–style instrument, offering classic tone, craftsmanship, and playability comparable to late-1950s originals. It features a solid mahogany body with a carved flame maple top, delivering warm sustain and rich harmonic depth. Equipped with PAF-style humbuckers (often DiMarzio), the guitar produces articulate cleans and powerful overdriven tones suited for rock and blues. Its vintage-style neck profile and high-quality materials make it a sought-after instrument among collectors and players alike. Today, it is widely regarded as one of the best “lawsuit-era” guitars ever produced.
