Description

The Gretsch 5420T Silver Sparkle is a captivating blend of vintage allure and modern performance, designed for the discerning guitarist. This hollowbody electric guitar delivers the quintessential Gretsch sound with a twist, thanks to its FT-5E Filter'Tron pickups that produce that unmistakable punch and twang. Crafted with laminated maple for the top, back, and sides, the G5420T resonates with a rich, full-bodied tone that's perfect for everything from rockabilly to blues.

The guitar's design includes a robust yet lightweight structure, ensuring long sessions feel effortless. Its maple neck, paired with a laurel fingerboard, offers smooth playability, allowing your fingers to glide over its 22 medium-jumbo frets. The Bigsby B60 vibrato tailpiece adds a layer of expressiveness, letting you infuse your music with subtle, vintage-style pitch modulation.

Enhancing the guitar's resonance and sustain is the innovative trestle-block bracing, which minimizes feedback—a feature particularly appreciated by live performers. The Adjusto-matic bridge ensures precise intonation, and the vintage-style open-back tuners keep your tuning rock solid throughout any gig or rehearsal.

Whether you're aiming for the classic sounds of legends or crafting your own unique musical journey, the Gretsch 5420T Silver Sparkle offers a gateway to a world of sonic possibilities.

The looks, The sound. It's got it all.

250 were made in this colour in 2014, the specs are the same as the other 5420. With the blacktop filtertrons. Sounds great and really comes out in the mix.
