G5438T Electromatic Pro Jet Review: I know I've managed to find a flaw to mention in... | Gretsch | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

ultimate-guitar.com

The Gretsch G5438T Electromatic Pro Jet dazzles with its "freakin' awesome" sound, especially for rock and blues enthusiasts. While its stylish Les Paul-esque design and versatile tone impress, it's not without flaws. The bridge could be better, affecting sustain and causing some buzzing. Nevertheless, the guitar's robust build, appealing aesthetics, and overall playability make it a solid choice. Despite minor setup issues, the guitar shines, making it a worthy contender for those seeking a reliable, mid-range instrument.

That great Gretsch sound!

Love this guitar, have the black one, great sound and feel, I changed the strings to 10's though and had to have the nut worked on to keep the strings from sticking and stay in tune, especially the G.
