Description

The Grand Tour Guitar by Grez Guitars

The Grand Tour is a 15" carved-top archtop guitar with a relatively shallow 2" rim depth yet a resonant, woody tone ,thanks to the unique “Sprung Mass Tuning” body that preserves low-frequency resonance and gives an unusually rich, open acoustic-like voice for a hollow-body electric.
It’s built to a very high-end, luthier-level standard: the body (back and sides) and neck are from one piece of Honduran mahogany, the top is Sitka spruce , a classic combination that balances warmth, clarity, and responsiveness.
Compared to larger-bodied archtops, its compact size and lighter weight (≈ 5.8 lb) make it much more comfortable to play , ideal both seated and standing, and easier to gig with.
The combination of high-quality woods, hand-crafted build, and options for customization (neck profile, finish, pickups, tailpiece etc.) gives each guitar a bespoke character: both visually refined and sonically versatile.
With classic archtop aesthetics inspired by 1950s instruments (e.g. period-style pickguard, nitro finish, vintage-style hardware), yet modern craftsmanship and build quality, it bridges vintage vibe and contemporary playability beautifully.
In short: The Grand Tour stands out because it's a masterfully crafted, lightweight archtop that delivers deep, rich resonance and vintage character , yet remains flexible, comfortable, and modern enough for today’s players and versatile musical styles.
