Great For Intermediates
This guitar looks, sounds and feels great, which is all the more complimented by a price tag that beats most Mexican Fenders and Epiphones. Awesome bang for the buck with a paper thin neck (albeit it takes time to adjust from!) The coil-split is an awesome option to have however that is a large volume difference. But it sounds epic and you can get some really unique sounds. Always has been a really solid guitar, it comes with a hardcase and doesn't mind being chucked about a bit. The polyurethane finish feels a bit cheap and on the neck can get a bit sticky, unlike nitrocellulose lacquer. Takes pedals really well. Actually has a really unique sound and isn't like a Gibson in many ways at all, which goes against my first thoughts. A really good choice for any Intermediate guitar player and in all fairness, after a bit of modification (Pick-up change, maybe bridge change to a Bigsby? (Personal preference really)) I believe this guitar could be boosted up to a professional level guitar, becoming on par with a Gibson Les Paul Standard in its own way. Just, if you're a higher level guitar player, don't put nines on the damn thing! (Yes they really do feel that bad!)
