Build quality

  • The Harley Benton G412A is made of poplar plywood rather than MDF or particle board, which is considered more durable than cheaper materials but not as robust as birch plywood.

Good for starter, good for the price.

This cab is big & loud. I have one stored at a friends because it's that loud I simply can't play it at mine (I live in the middle of town). It's cheap and I got it with a line 6 spider II head about 6-7 years ago, it did me then and every now and then it throws me a surprise. I play it with a Marshall valvestate now and to be honest some of the tones are really crisp and full. If you're looking to start doing small gigs etc. this is a pretty good match.
