Good but cheap produced & too much plastic

The Hercules DJ Control Instinct is a nice little DJ Controller for beginner djs and for djs who travel a lot and don´t want to take a big one with them. The software is very nice but the way it was produced is a little bit too cheap But for only 60 € it´s a nice dj controller for those who only make little parties.

This is a very cool first DJ Controller, which let you control and mix two tracks + a little mixer. There is everything you need to discover DJing.

Good for multiple automation clips and parameter control

I Use the knobs and faders for parameters. If I have a reverb or a cutoff, synth knob or pitch knob to work with during a session, I MIDI map it to a knob or fader. I Also use it as a LINE-OUT When recording to cassette. It works great! I Have never used the turntables, however.

Good Mixing Software (Could use more features though)

This Hercules DJ Insight is a great starting tool for the serious and even if you're in the moderate terms of Djing. Made a one hour and forty-one minute mix with it and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It could use at least one or two more knobs to it. Like an effect control knob and a phaser knob. That'd be great.

A great starting tool, mappable on most software

I used it on Virtual DJ 7, but recently mapped it for controlling Resolume Arena (VJ) and it's juste a great and powerfull tool !
