Description

We don't call it the 'Super' Leeds for nothing! Named for a legendary live album of 70s rock music, the bigger, meaner brother of the Leeds 50 delivers up to 150 watts power with our signature oversized transformers to stay pin-sharp and focused at volumes that can cover any stage. Effects loop and real spring reverb make this a great pedal platform, alongside two channels of gain and dedicated EQs so you can go from clean to hooligan extreme with a single stomp, and paired with our specially-voiced Hiwatt Custom F150 12" speakers.

Hiwatt Super Leeds 150 Head | Review - Guitar Interactive Magazine

guitarinteractivemagazine.com

The Hiwatt Super Leeds 150 Head delivers a powerful punch with its 150-watt output and classic British tone, making it perfect for larger venues. Its dual-channel setup offers impressive cleans and aggressive overdrive, with standout features like a 3-band EQ and genuine spring reverb. However, while the distortion channels are fun, they can be overwhelming, with only the last quarter of the gain control offering usable tones. Despite this, the amp’s overall sound is captivating, with rich lows and a pedal-friendly clean that many players will appreciate. If you're in the market for a robust amplifier that won't break the bank, the Super Leeds 150 is a strong contender, but be prepared to navigate some quirks in its distortion settings.
