Well built and solid player with some interesting features
Really nice neck with good quality tuners. Very solid body but some might find it heavy. ATN controls are a bit hit and miss in terms of what they aim to emulate, but still add some interesting versatility. Actual pickups are pretty good quality, but may need to play with the ATN to find tones you like Pickguard and tremolo block are the weak points. Pickguard prone to breaking and not particularly good quality tortoiseshell effect. Original blocks typically crumbly and need to be replaced at this point. A good buy for an intermediate player upgrading from a beginners guitar or a great base for a project guitar.

Noel Gallagher was using a Hohner JT 60 ATN before Oasis made it big, as evidenced by a picture of a teenage Noel with his Hohner JT 60 ATN in the "Various" section of The Chief's Guitars - Noel Gallagher's guitars: a complete guide by Lazy Guitar Anorak.

Rory Gallagher is confirmed to have used a Hohner JT60 Electric Guitar, serial no. C208092, as evidenced by its sale at Bonhams Auction House in 2024 as part of the Rory Gallagher collection auction (Lot 127). The guitar features a double-cut, offset body with an ivory-colored finish, three pickups, a tremolo bridge/tailpiece, and a maple neck with an Indian rosewood fingerboard.

Both are Offset Body Strat (SSS) type guitar with a 24.75” scale length, Strat style floating tremolo, 22 fret maple neck and more control over the pickups than a regular 5 way switch (Hohner via ATN Circuit, Squier via the Jaguar-esque control plates)
