It's a good starting bass, but it has it's flaws...
I've been playing the bass for the past 8 years or so, so I wanted a better bass because the one I already had is really old and cheap. The price for this bass is reasonable, but here in Uruguay is almost 200 dolars more! (I payed like U$D 535). Tone-wise, it has a LOT of low end and not that much of that mid to high range which Jackson is famous for. Also, in my opinion it's missing that growl I really like from this kind of Jackson basses (Like David Ellefson's one). But again, all of this is because it's a low end bass, so it's understandable.

Pretty good instrument with a few flaws.
This instrument has a great tone for the price, but there are a lot of quality issues like the audio jack becomes loose easily and the trap buttons become loose easily as well. Overall though this is a good bass.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
everything wide open sounds the best
