The Jackson JS Series Concert Bass JS2 stands out for its lightweight design and powerful pickups, offering exceptional sound quality and playability that caters to both beginners and professionals. Its sleek satin black finish and durable construction enhance its appeal, making it a visually striking instrument. It's a good starting bass, but it has it's flaws...

I've been playing the bass for the past 8 years or so, so I wanted a better bass because the one I already had is really old and cheap. The price for this bass is reasonable, but here in Uruguay is almost 200 dolars more! (I payed like U$D 535). Tone-wise, it has a LOT of low end and not that much of that mid to high range which Jackson is famous for. Also, in my opinion it's missing that growl I really like from this kind of Jackson basses (Like David Ellefson's one). But again, all of this is because it's a low end bass, so it's understandable.

Pretty good instrument with a few flaws.

This instrument has a great tone for the price, but there are a lot of quality issues like the audio jack becomes loose easily and the trap buttons become loose easily as well. Overall though this is a good bass.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

everything wide open sounds the best
