The Jackson Pro Series DKA7 is an impressive contender for progressive metal musicians, offering phenomenal sound and excellent hardware for its price. Its solid, fast neck and auto-trim tuners enhance playability and ease of string changes. However, some may find retuning and tuning to be a minor drawback. Stunning-looking 7 string for a nice price

I was looking to introduce myself to the world of extended range guitars, and when I found this Jackson I instantly fell in love. The looks are amazing, and the stock pickups are Dimarzio D-Activators, which are a great choice for modern metal and this kind of stuff. All in all it's a pretty versatile guitar, comfortable to play, really lightweight. Cons are that factory set up was not as I expected. I've had some issues with the tuners and upper strings not vibrating as they would have to, but it's nothing a good luthier can't handle.
