The JMCS Joe Morrell Custom Series Lap Steel Guitar sounds as great as it looks with a contoured all maple body for maximum playability, exceptional resonance and tone. The fret board is rosewood with jumbo nickel frets and dot inlay.

This lap steel is feature-packed with two humbucker pickups. In the front is the Kent Armstrong Vintage C Six Shooter PAF Alnico V Neck Pickup Chrome chosen for its sweet, soulful tones with a warm bass, punchy mids, and a bright, jangly treble response reminiscent of a vintage PAF but with enhanced string definition.

The rear pickup is the Kent Armstrong Vintage C+ Nitrobucker PAF Vintage Ceramic Bridge Pickup Chrome known for its string definition and clarity and higher gain without sacrificing warmth.

The Morrell JMCS Lap Steel Guitar has silver bell push/pull Volume and Tone knobs, and 3-way mini toggle switch. This means that you can change your tonal combinations to suit your tastes - humbucker to single coil, front to rear - or both - in any combination!

The string through body, heavy duty chrome bridge has individual string saddles for intonation and string height adjustments. Mounted on a slotted headstock are open-backed, vertical Grover Sta-Tite 18:1 nickel tuners.
