The Kenai-J Hand-Made Single-Cut by Knaggs
The Knaggs Kenai-J is a high-end, single-cut electric guitar designed as a stripped-back, flat-top version of the original Kenai, emphasizing simplicity and tone. It features an all-mahogany construction with a set neck, delivering a warm, resonant character and strong midrange presence. The design follows a vintage-inspired approach but incorporates modern precision and craftsmanship typical of boutique builders. With multiple pickup configurations (P90s or humbuckers), it offers flexibility ranging from classic rock bite to smooth, articulate cleans. Its minimalist control layout (volume, tone, and optional toggle) keeps the focus on pure playability and tonal response. Overall, the Kenai-J blends traditional single-cut aesthetics with premium build quality and customization options.
