Excellent Free ePiano

This is an excellent VST. After hearing that it was Madeon's favorite, I looked into it and realized it's potential. It's not as high quality as something you would hear in a Kontakt library for instance, but it is great to start with.

I used to have this back to when there weren't a lot of options for VST Rhodes and wurli plugins, but the Fruity Keys sounds so similar I never bothered getting it again. Since I pretty much just use FL producer now for programming over Cubase I stick with as many native FL plugins as possible for simple jobs like this. I have to say, you don't gain a lot in sound quality by going NI for Rhodes sounds. No one manages to simulate the real magic of an electromechanical keyboard, so a CPU friendly plugin like this is fine for most applications.

I see your point. I used Kontakt as a reference because typically they are high quality sample libraries, but I honestly have never really looked into Kontakt libraries for Rhodes myself; it was just off the top of my head XD. I've never been a fan of FL Keys though, I've never liked the sound.

Very good to have around.

Until I got Addictive Keys, this and 4Front Piano were my go-to piano VSTs.
