Best « modern » plugin ever made ?
It’s rare, but it happens: sometimes a product becomes a legend and a full success right away. It’s even more impressive when it’s coming from a new brand as a first plugin.
Oeksound changed the game few years back with this incredible tool, designed to help you remove frequency problems out of individual and full tracks. Version 2 sounds even better and goes lower in the spectrum. The truth is that the industry was almost waiting for this thing but nobody was really pushing into it, apart from dynamic and clever static EQs (that are still as important, don’t get me wrong).
This thing really defines what digital can do (along with software like RX and Melodyne) and it’s really cool to see some people coming out with such dramatic and so great sounding ideas. It helps so much it’s almost scary. But yeah it’s musical, transparent, super fast, well...you name it, already a classic. Learn it and you will be rewarded ! Thanks Oeksound, keep up !
PS: their second plugin, Spiff, is also a true god-send for mixing and editing. You want to create analog-like sweet dynamics ? Crazy punch ? Try it !

Like Magic.
I would lie, if I'd say that this isn't one of my best plugin investments I've made till this day. It became an essential piece of software in my productions. Throwing it on literally anything like synths, drums or even a tiny bit on the master works wonders!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
The Presets are a super useful part of the Plugin.

this is a very cool 'learning' AI type of dynamic EQ.... I have yet to use it in earnest. i just fiddled with it. Purchased while on sale.
