Description

Introducing the Radial Workhorse Cube, a unique three-module desktop power rack that brings the adaptability and thrill of 500 series modular audio right at your fingertips. Ditch the traditional rack mounting, with the Cube's innovative design, you can place your instrument and microphone preamps as close to the source as possible, thus enhancing the signal to noise ratio.

This compact powerhouse is not just portable but can be conveniently embedded into your work surface with optional mounting flanges. The Cube transcends the traditional 'hardwire patch' system, employing a cutting-edge feed function that allows modules to be patched together in series without the need of a cable.

Constructed with a robust 14-gauge steel frame, the Cube ensures optimal signal transfer with dual gold contact EDAC 15-pin connectors. It's equipped to handle power-hungry modules with an external supply delivering 500mA of current and a separate 48V phantom tap delivering a full 10mA of current for microphone preamps. Thanks to its Omniport feature on each slot, you can enjoy unique module functionality such as a key input on a gate.

Sweet!

Great piece of kit- Love the Feed and Link functions and in general just a great "get the job done" piece. Sturdy and easy to include into your workflow. No complains at all. Happily recommend this piece to anyone looking for a small format 500 series rack.

jimmarchi1

I was looking at the workhorse lunchbox and even radial's preamps, so you like it? hmmmm

xaqary

I do. Really like is size factor as well. Haven't tried Radials 500 series pre's yet tho. I had to sell off my other 2 500 series units so now I've just got Radial's EXTC for re-amping & mixing w/ pedals. Only thing that gives me pause would be stacking 3 pre's in this box-heat would be a consideration on what pre's I'd pop in there since there isn't any ventilation.
