Great guitar for multiple genres
I have a 75 all stock with high gain pickups sounds great clean and distorted. One thing that bothers me is that it hums really bad with fuzz on because the pickups are single coils.
Preferred Settings + Usage:
My favourite setting on this guitar is setting it on the neck pickup and rolling the bass tone on 0 and a bit of fuzz on the amp.

"This Rickenbacker Model 450 is from the private collection of Billy Corgan.
This vintage Rick was used this on a few recordings in the mid-2000s, but nothing notable that we can point to.
This Rickenbacker is pretty clean for its age. There are no major blemishes – only the subtle surface scratches and tiny nicks you'd expect on a guitar this age, and only a few at that. One of the original tuning pegs has been replaced (the D string) and does not match the others. The pickguard has been replaced as well. The neck pickup was rewound at some point and sounds fantastic.
This guitar sounds great. Low noise, very clear and open pickups. All switches and pots work as they should. The frets are a bit worn but aren't an urgent issue yet.
This guitar will ship in its original hardshell case with the original pickguard included."

As a fan of the Beatles, Ramone was eager to purchase a Rickenbacker. He acquired his 450 guitar in 1977 and used it throughout the late Seventies, during the group’s time performing at CBGB in New York City’s East Village, and into the early Eighties. This Rickenbacker is the second-oldest documented guitar belonging to Ramone. All of his earlier guitars were stolen in 1977, except for this guitar and his white Mosrite, which was also purchased in 1977.
Cameron Picton can be seen using a Rickenbacker 450/12 during his live shows in Australia in 2023, as highlighted in a tweet by user @fetjury.
He has been using this guitar currently as his main axe, a mapleglo 450. It has a custom pickguard with some black to appear as one of the most modern models.
