Excerpt from interview:
What other Sonnox plug-ins do you use?
I use TransMod to add extra edge to effects. It’s perfect for adding a little more attack and/or changing the contour or timbre of certain sounds. I’m also using the Oxford EQ, and I think it’s amazing for doing cuts and such without hurting the overall sound. You can really get surgical with it. I’ll also use the Inflator - especially on mix busses.
"And thanks to Eoin (Noisestorm) I just started using oxford transmod for transient modification."

In a YouTube video by Splice, Oak Felder discusses using the Sonnox Oxford TransMod plugin while producing Demi Lovato's track "Sorry Not Sorry" from royalty-free samples.
Excerpt from Music Radar's 20 Producer Tips:
xKore "To make my kicks and snares punchy I always use Sonnox Transmod and SPL Transient Designer, with a transient length setting of around 30-50ms. EQing a snare to boost the 'sweet spot' around 200Hz will make it pop nicely too. I usually lightly sidechain them to any interfering elements so the drums come through clearer. Having the transients come through a bit higher than other elements on the master will allow you to squash the waveform slightly so that it gives the effect of the drums briefly pushing other elements out of the way, this makes the drums seem more powerful, snappy and punchy. I often layer a ride onto my snares to give a noisy splash that most snares don't really give"
Aiden Jude uses the Sonnox Oxford TransMod plugin in his creative process, as shown in his Instagram post captioned "In my dungeon. Never stop creating. Always and all ways."
So which Oxfords do use?
The EQ and the Trans Mod.
How do you use the Trans Mod?
It’s really great on drums and such. I use it to change the attacks of them, and it’s also good on percussion too. But besides the drums, I’ve also used it on different instruments, like bass and keyboards.
In general, I think of it as a tool that can change the attack and release of instruments and drums. It can make things fatter, thinner and so on. I kind of view it as a modern gate. It can expand, it can increase the slope of the attack, and you can actually tighten and even clip sounds with it too.
"I use Ableton Suite 9 currently. Large range of synthesizers, favourites include IL Harmor, Roy Papen's Blue 2, Adam Szabo JP6K, Serum, Spire, and of course Massive. As for processing I use Fab Filter Pro-Q 2 as my primary equalizer, Camel Audio Camelcrusher and Sugarbytes WOW for distortion, iZotope RX2 and Ozone 6 suites for various purposes, Valhalla shimmer for reverb along with Room and Ubermod for spatializing. Oh and BazzISM and Drumatic for creating drum samples And thanks to Eoin (Noisestorm) I just started using oxford transmod for transient modification."
