Great Tone & Functionality, Reliable(ish)
Great bass sounding bass right off the rack, not much set up required. I was really thrilled with the ease of movement along the neck, especially in the lower registers. I also really like the width of the neck. Spacing on the strings is very comfortable, not too close like some five stringers. Active pickup has great shape and a wide range of tonal capabilities.
The solder points on the input were a bit troublesome. Finally had my tech swap the input and touch up some poor soldering throughout the guitar. For a mid tier product & price range, it's to be expected. Not a deal breaker, I bought a backup & a 4-string.
