Description
Unlock a world of sonic exploration with the Subconscious Communications Model 52 Vampire. This modular synthesizer module is not just an ordinary LFO/VCO pair; it's a dense timbral pitch source designed to inject life into even the most dormant patches. With its dual-oscillator configuration, the Model 52 Vampire delivers a robust audio output through six distinct waveforms, each ripe for synchronization and external modulation.
The magic begins with VCO1's pre-routed synchronization and frequency modulation of VCO2's linear or exponential inputs, akin to a complex oscillator. The Model 52 Vampire reimagines voltage-controlled morphing, cross-fading VCO2's PWM waveform with the output of a voltage-controlled wave-scanner, offering a dynamic, truly 'un-dead' audio experience. VCO1 further enriches your sound palette by providing either a ramp or triangle waveform to envelop VCO2's sin2 waveform or external audio, producing anything from articulate tones to buzzy, alias-like sounds.
Built on triangle cores, the Vampire's oscillators offer pristine sawtooth waveforms and a hard-sync option for consistent envelope shaping. With frequency coupling/un-coupling controlled through a panel switch, the Vampire ensures flexibility and precision in your modular setup.
Key Features:
- Dual full-range oscillators with six selectable waveforms each
- VCO1 frequency range: 0.018Hz to 16kHz; VCO2 frequency range: 0.036Hz to 32kHz
- Voltage-controlled cross-fading and morphing capabilities
- Built-in synchronization options for versatile modulation
- Compact 21HP Eurorack format with 10-pin power connection
