Great first guitar
Own this guitar for 5 years.
It's certainly on pair (maybe slighly better) than entr-level squier telecasters.
The pickups sound very nice, especially when properly setted. Neck feels smooth and has a very nice and comfortable shape. Frets are nice, paint is usually very good and it feels nice and sturdy, just like a tele should feel.
The Bridge is also factory routed for a humbucker.
Cons: - Tuners are cheap, althought in my opinion they hold tune "just fine". - Noise: it has some hum (it's a tele duh), but in my opinion a little to much compared to some mid-level tagimas, seize and even squiers. Shielding helps to reduce some.
All in all, very good beginners guitar that you will probably want to keep with you for the rest of your life, if it has some sentimental value (like mine), you will want to even throw some good tuners and expensive pickups...

It sounds like a telecaster
Its a nice guitar, better than a lot of the squiers. You have to change the tuners, but besides that sounds great.
