Built as the perfect companion for the Traynor YBA-1 Tribute Head, the 120-watt Traynor YBX212 extension cabinet delivers massive tone in a compact-stack package. Loaded with a pair of 12-inch Celestion Vintage30's in a vertical slanted cabinet design, the YBX212 delivers massive projection and stack tone in an affordable, more manageable cabinet solution.

Great 2x12
I’m amazed. It sound great for high gain metal, classic rock, blues. It’s a little heavy but too bad and very portable. It’s 8 ohm but with the right converter it can be used if you’re amp only has 16 ohm output. It’s very sturdy as well.

or you can swap the speakers for similar ones at 8ohms each in series like a vox or marshall bluesbreaker for the full brit... it'll add thump and eliminate the dampening or parallel wiring.
4/5 ! Great Cab!
Having played the YBX-212 Cab, and owning the vintage 70's one that's it's modelled on, I can honestly say that they knocked it out of the park with this cab. The new one comes with Vintage 30's, which is why I gave it a 4/5. Not because Vintage 30's are bad - quite the contrary - but because they're just not my favourite. My 70's one is loaded with an old 12" Celestion Greenback, and a Weber CV-123 (Cerwin Vega copy). I personally like this combo of speakers waaaaaay more. It's a much more 70's sound to me - think Duane Allman, he used the same combo. But it's a great cab, stock or otherwise. Highly recommend!
