The "Solar" Fully Hollow handcrafted in Japan by Westville
The Westville “Solar” is a fully hollow archtop electric guitar built entirely from solid carved tonewoods, designed for high resonance and dynamic responsiveness. Its construction features a carved Sitka spruce top paired with a carved hard maple back and a deeply routed carved maple side rim, giving it both structural rigidity and rich acoustic complexity. The instrument is known for its highly sensitive, expressive response, producing a deep, overtone-rich sound with strong sustain and excellent clarity. A unique internal end-block design anchors the tailpiece directly through the body, optimizing vibration transfer and tonal balance. Overall, it is a refined, boutique-level instrument aimed at players who want an articulate and highly responsive hollow-body guitar.
