Cut corner design
On the outside, this piano looks like shit with these cheap plastic panels, but when you take a look at the inside, this is a pretty well made piano. Release in 1984, a bit late with all the digital stuffs that came out, I think this piano was well designed, but they had to cut corner some stuffs (The exterior) to help lower the sell price and I don't think they sells a lot. This is a good compromise over the big CP70/80 Grand Electric Piano. Big downside, the bass note are almost untuneable, beiing too short and with only one string (instead of 2 for the mid/hi range), they sounds weird and not really ''piano like''. In other hand the mid and higher not can sounds really good and I obtained good results by mixing the output with a mic'ed setup.
