I listened to this a couple times, and then I listened to my music and you're right about the repeats. I still enjoy it, but you're music is very dynamic. Knows that there's a set of chords to follow, but not so rigidly as most bands.

This was very painful to watch, but yes, people do worse and It's mostly out of just pure negligence to something so enjoyable. There's so much you can with an instrument, but when you limit yourself... you're just as bad as these guys, except they care... well, sort of.

Out of curiosity, has anyone heard the 44 magnum by EHX? I see anf hear it, but in my eyes, I just see a glorified boost pedal.

I'm on Winter Break too, it's pretty nice. I finally have time to focus reorder my life and figure out what I need to do and what to practise and such.

As for Robert Johnson, he's there because he has under five submissions and will continue to be there unless the admin can work up some Java magic (or whatever language it is).

And why the fuck does not Narcist become a mod aldready? Or is he one? He is a nice guy, too patient - I can't figure how the heck does he explain the same thing to other members over and over - and it is usually about submissions.

I am not a mod. I'm still quite young compared to some members here and have a lot to learn. Also, I'm not that patient. I'm sure my fied with Lux is evidence, but I try my best to keep that nerve from exploding. If anything, he's right about mod's having power over it, but this is a specialised situation. Mods aren't everywhere, so that's why I made a new thread to find a mod. Jim would make a better candidate, but he doesn't submit as often.

Oh, excuse my bad language, but it is just normal to use words like "fuck" in normal conversation - or? I mean, every single forum has some kind of freedom of speech - as long as there are no any bigot assholes with their racist and homophobic talks. No hate, just the word that was popular and it will still be one. And many songs have this word in it!

I've noticed this amongst many forums that speech is always different. A forum for a famous horror game will have a higher spelling and grammar mistake rate as well as a lot of profanity, but it's also very tight-knit when it comes to people who can make mods (mods, not moderators). This forum is excellent when it comes to spelling and grammar albeit occasionally make mistakes or aren't English speakers entirely. Profanity is low, but it's fine.

One other case... Psuedolonewolf has created a psuedo-forum... comments really, but those guys are intellectuals. They're very focused to philosophy, personalities, etc. I envy them, but I also avoid them... no way I want to become like them. To use an oxymoron, they're very placid, yet extremely sensitive.

I had put a new amp so high on my list of things to buy, but I just came through trouble... sort of.

Our band is going to Hawaii! Whether I'll be chosen to play is not known. However, I need to buy the tickets myself, so I have to save up the $600 for that plus an extra $200 or $300 in case I find a good guitar shop. I have to do this with a part-time job by June... Not sure if it's achievable, but I'm trying my best.

Yes, but this was amongst the first pedals I bought... that was a year and a half ago when I knew nothing of guitar. I'm not surprised I overlooked this detail, and I just fixed it now. Sounds fantastic.

I was kinda obsessed with this because of the delay and reverb combo, and a lot of people say this is such a good pedal, AND Explosions in the Sky uses it.

I would, but I love this pedal so much that I probably wouldn't want to resell it. My friend in the band has an RV-5, and I always envy him because that thing decays so well, but it could never reverberate like the Ambient can... My ears heard a hall reverb on nearly all settings of the RV-5 including the plate which sounds so wonderful on the Ambient.

Unfortunately, you're still right about resale value... I got this for $120 and only later found out I had just bought a brand new pedal for $60 under the retail. B & H must've been hosting a special discount I guess.

I still have my heart set out on modding this thing, but resale value seems to be a more important for long-term.

It's the Digitech Hardwire Reverb. Very nice pedal, fantastic sound, doesn't decay.

Edit: I tried opening it but I need a smaller allen key. I'll have to get it later.

It's a D-28. The D-35 has a white binding around the neck, and Grohl's acoustic doesn't appear to have that.

You should know that you can edit these now. There's a button on all items that says "edit", that way mods can relax while you share a bit of the burden. I just fixed those for you.

Amp's fixed. Mic needed categorising, done. You'll have to mark off those pedals yourself, because from my view, that looks correct. Tell them why it is incorrect and please, do not forget to select the quality rating as incorrect.

Holy hell, I hate this artist page because it was such crap before. Had to do a whole renovation on it. I don't know what exactly those Theremin things are... And yes, we do have more detailed categories. Edit an item and you'll see it's changed. Only this is, you can categorise up to the third, but you'll have to submit and edit again to categorise on the fourth drop-down menu.

More Equipboard members should also add photos to the artists that don't have one. I tried as much as I could, but there are still thousands and thousands of artists that need their photo, or some basic info.

Why the heck, when I add the genre to artist, like rock, it says "genres removed", and then it lists just the genres I need?

I don't know, must be a system thing. As long as it shows up correct, that's all that matters for now.

I took a course on guitar this semester, and I befriended this guy who seems to be in his late 20's. He brought to our final a Hurricane by Morris Equinox II, completely modified.

He sanded down the body to a beautiful natural colour,replace the pickups to an HS combo, both of which are practically humbuckers, added a red, white, and blue knob, one of which coil-taps, a switch that chooses the side of the humbucker to use, installed a Gilmour-style tremolo, removed the covers on the back, and finally replaced the string with some special kind that I can't place.
