"We´ve recently moved over to the TC Electronic G-System so we´re going full on with that one. We experimented a lot with different pedals before - we used a [Damage Control] Demonizer pedal for distortion but that wasn´t really doing it for us. Now we´ve got the LaBoga amps and we´re hooking them up with the G-System and basically that´s all we need to have a good rig."

We always use a multitude of stuff for the different guitar sounds on every album. For this one we have used Kemper, but also real amps like **Diezel. Some of the guitar fx comes from the gear that we use/have used live and customized, like a BOSS GT-10 for example. It all depends on what we need at any given sound/situation.

"...We´ve got a new endorsement from Laboga amps in Poland and it literally took us twenty minutes to dial in the sound on this album. It was crazy! In the past we´ve worked for one or two days just trying to find the right tone, always experimenting with different types and mic signals from different cabinets. But this time it was super easy and that was very encouraging.”

Anders Nystrom uses the DiMarzio DP207 D Sonic pickup in his signature Mayones Regius 6 guitar, as detailed on the Mayones Guitars & Basses website.

"We use Blackstar amps live. I use the S1-200 and Anders uses the S1-100. The Mesa rectifier is a nice amp, but for us it's impossible to make it sound right without adding another amp in the mix, like a Blackstar or a Laboga. We both use boss stuff for our FX, Anders uses GT-10 and I'm using GT-pro (Rack mount). We have filmed a nice "gear walk through" that will appear on the new DVD." Jonas Renske

He used GT-3 according to the interview.

Anders Nystrom is confirmed to use the ES Guitars ES-86 during the "The Wacken Carnage" live performance in 2005. This is supported by the 1:16 mark (first time you get a clear look at it) in the "Bloodbath - The Wacken Carnage (2005) Full Concert" video, uploaded by GO-PROG on YouTube, getting a pretty good view of the instrument. This appearance aligns with the documented line-up and setlist, giving a source for the axes use.

Seen in the background of dead air livestream, but also a short lived sig model from Mayones. Anders also uses Mayones Vidius guitars in Bloodbath.

Used extensively in Katatonia for many years now, played on Dead Air live record as well as Last Fair Day Gone Night live DVD.
