Billie Eilish's Gear
Billie's vocals for 'Ocean Eyes' were recorded with the 2020, which sounds great. It's not quite as good as the Neumann, but I have never found a microphone that I like more than the 2020 that's less expensive than the Neumann. The 2020 is a really good starter microphone.
(Finneas O'Connell (Billie's brother, producer & co-writer) in Sound On Sound magazine)
Bille is seen adjusting the Neumann TLM 103 on the first clip of this video.
According to sE Electronics' website, Eilish uses the V7 MC1 live.
Used in some live performances at gigs and festivals in 2018
Billie is shown here using the SM58, as mentioned. She used it for all of her live songs for 3FM.
Shown in their bedroom studio "Some of the most important music of a generation began its journey here, in the family home of FINNEAS and his sister Billie Eilish. The origin story goes something like this: A brother sits at his desk, creating sounds with anything he can find, while his little sister sits on the edge of the bed, singing line after mesmerizing line. No big studio. No entourage. Just a place where honesty roams free"
While performing in the Together at Home concert, Billie wore Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Professional Monitor Headphones.

I'm sure she's using a shure SM55 mike, but cannot really tell if it's the deluxe version or the simple serie ii but i'll guess it's the deluxe because the middle seems enhanced (that the main difference between the 2 mikes)
for the timing, 3:22 seems the best to see the full microphone from the back

So now, it's a Telefunken 251 for Billie, Chandler REDD for me. Billie's mic I run through a 5211 Neve preamp... and then straight into the board. And then my mic, Chandler, I'll run through a CL, y'know, 1B, one o' those blue compressor units, that's everybody... But that's it.
Her brother (and producer) uses it in his bedroom studio to produce music for Billie.

Rob Kinelski:
"I liked using the S1 stereo imager for some width on the vocal doubles, both gently and sometimes aggressively to the point of absurd. I love it when you push a sample out of phase and make it weird."
