Kele Okereke's Gear
In this photo of Kele Okereke performing live, he can be seen playing a Fender Telecaster electric guitar. Looking at the full resolution image here, zooming in on the headstock reveals the serial number of the guitar, which looks to be "MZ3195533" which would indicate this guitar was made at the Ensenada Plant (Fender), Mexico between 2003 and 2004. "Made in Mexico" can also be seen written on the Tele's headstock. Kele's Tele has a black pickguard, and shows signs of wear.
In this video and just about every live Bloc Party performance on youtube I've seen Kele plays this sunburst telecaster with a maple fingerboard and white pickguard.
Kele Okereke of Bloc Party used a Gretsch Chet Atkins Tennessee Rose when he performed during the 2008 Virgin Mobile Festival at Pimlico Race Course.
Find it on:
In this Conan performance from 2005, both Okereke and Lissack had switched to Fender Hot Rod DeVille amplifiers with Marshall power attenuators on top of them.
In this photo, Okereke's pedalboard is shown, and the Boss BC-2 combo drive is visible on the far right.
Kele uses this guitar in the original video for Bloc Party's "Banquet".
In a performance video titled "Bloc Party - Chinese Burn," Kele Okereke is seen playing a Fender Classic Series '72 Telecaster Thinline. Although the exact model isn't explicitly confirmed, the guitar's design matches the '72 Thinline. Additionally, the Thinline appears in Kele's space during Boss's "Behind the Sound" feature for "Banquet."

In a live performance video from 2007, at the 18:18 mark, Kele Okereke's pedalboard is visible, and it includes a pedal that closely resembles the Boss OS-2 OverDrive/Distortion. This is consistent with the gear used by Russell Lissack, Bloc Party's lead guitarist.

On the first row of the pedalboard you can see a white pedal with blue knobs. That is the Boss DD3. Is one of the three types of delay Kele uses for guitar (he is also using a Line 6 DL4 Delay Modeller for vocals).
Okereke used this Stratocaster during 2013 Olympia Concert. This is the Jeff Beck model, judging by the signature on the headstock. Photograph was taken by Dan Butler.
In the photos from Apogee's Berkeley Street Studio, photo of Kele's pedalboard is seen, which contains the Boss OC-3 octave pedal. The tape is located on the pedal, covering the word "SUPER".
