Paul Gilbert's Amplifiers
At 4:23, Paul mentions that he's been using the JCM 2000 Dual Super Lead. He's been using these amps because they "always sound consistent and good [...] and they're just trouble-free".
He uses various Marshalls in the studio and live, but this is the one listed on his site.
The amp head and settings is found on the Racer X page on PG solo setup for the GOOMY tour
Seen here using the Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 -- He also uses the combo version (2266C). Gilbert has been seen using the 2466 live in Paris in 2007 during his "Get Out Of My Yard" tour.
"I was curious if the Kemper Profiler could really capture the sound and feel of my favorite tube amps. My first "profile" took just a few minutes to set up. When I compared the tone of my 'real' amp to the Kemper profile, I couldn't tell the difference. Mind blowing! I've been profiling my whole amp collection since then!" At 11:30 in this video Paul Gilbert says that he used the speakers of his Vintage Modern combos with different Marshall heads.
In the image shared by Marshall Amplification, we can see Paul Gilbert with the Marshall Mini Silver Jubilee 2525C 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp. The caption reads:
New amp day for Paul Gilbert. He's picked up a 2525C Mini Jubilee, because he's got a great taste in amps #liveformusic
Gilbert had two ADA MP-1s in his rack the late 80s and early 90s.
"Pretty much one of my favourite things of all time, the new ADA MP-1. The real cool thing about it, is that, not only does it sound great, but you get some incredible switching with it. By pressing one button you can change everything that's MIDI, plus kick in stuff in the effects loop."
At 11:07 in this video Paul Gilbert says that he used a Marshall 1987x amp for the recording of 'Vibrato'.
On Paul's website, the Hot Plate is listed as the gear that he uses.
Mr. Gilbert can be seen using the Marshall JMP-1C throughout his instructional video for his Vibrato album.
“For amps, I used a Marshall 2061x or a Germino Lead 55, which is a reproduction of an old Marshall circuit. And a Marshall 1960TV 4 x 12 cabinet."

Paul Gilbert posted at instagram that he uses Marshall JTM Bluesbreaker.
In this article with Guitar Player in 2021, Paul Gilbert talks about his at home rig and says:
I built a small pedalboard that I keep near my main computer desk. I use it to practice, write songs, do Zoom/Skype interviews, and record into Pro Tools. The selection of pedals changes sometimes, but my JHS PG-14 overdrive is usually front and center. The EarthQuaker Devices Dispatch Master is nice because I can get both reverb and delay without taking up a lot of space.
The MXR Phase 100 makes me feel like Johnny Winter. And the Catalinbread Callisto chorus is for vintage Rush-style riffs. I send this into a Marshall JTM1C running clean. I keep my favorite Ibanez Fireman guitars nearby and my iPhone for recording song ideas quickly.

paul_gilbert_official For the “vocal” on “Holy Diver,” I used a 90s Ibanez Ghostrider, a JHS Twin Twelve V2, a Supro Drive, and a Marshall JTM45. I took photos of the gear and settings for nearly all of the recording of “The Dio Album,” so more to come! Link in Bio to listen and pre-order!
