Paul Weller's Gear
An MXR M-103 is listed among Paul's gear on Dunlop's website.
In this 2002 interview with Music Radar, Paul Weller says, "I've got a Gibson 12-string, which I've had for some time, and a J-45 I've also had for a while; they're the main ones. "
What guitars are you currently using?
"I've got a Gibson 12-string, which I've had for some time, and a J-45 I've also had for a while; they're the main ones. One that I got recently is the Gibson Everly Brothers; that sounds nice."

Can you give me a run down of the guitars and amps you are currently using? I use a 1968 Marshall Bluesbreaker which has a totally different sound to the re-issued models you can get now. My volume is only ever on number two otherwise its like 'blaaah!' I've got two Bluesbreakers actually. I've also got a Vox Supreme that I use on stage. I have a box that lets me switch between the two for the variance in sound. Its got the mid boost on it and also distortion and vibrato and stuff. With guitars, I tend to make the most of my Epiphone Casino, which is a 1966 model.

There's a reason Paul Weller is so respected by his fans despite his shifts in musical styles over the years. Weller follows his heart and his tunes stay true to the times and his age. I first heard him in 1977, when I bought a British import of a 45 and later an album, each called In The City, by The Jam. Inspired by The Who, the music of The Jam was infused with urgency and melody. Then Weller wanted more from music and began The Style Council with a bit of R&B, ballads and even jazz. For nearly 25 years, Weller has been recording under his own name. Now he has new songs for us all and an album called Saturns Pattern. Here at the Tiny Desk he brings this humble collection of songs acoustically and includes a tune from what may be his best known record, his 1995 album Stanley Road. It's a pretty heartwarming moment — especially for longtime followers of his shifting but consistent music.

In a 1981 photo from Rockarchive, Paul Weller of The Jam is shown using the Vox V125 Lead Stack, which includes the V125 Lead amp head and VR212 2x12 Enclosure. This amplifier, an evolution of the Vox AC-120 introduced in 1973, features a combination of transistors and tubes, including two 2N3819 transistors and a tube complement of ECC83, ECC82, ECC81, and EL-34s. Unlike its predecessor, the V125 does not include a reverb circuit. Designed with Gain, Volume, Master Volume controls, and a five-band EQ, the V125 offers a tonal range similar to Marshall amps of the same era. The amplifier's cabinet houses two 12-inch, 80-watt Celestion speakers and is covered in Vox's traditional black basket weave vinyl, characteristic of the Rose Morris era from 1979 to 1992.
On Dunlop's website, a Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face Distortion pedal is listed among Paul's gear.

Weller estimates his guitar collection “at around 40 or so” pieces, but on Saturns Pattern he limited himself to only a few models, mostly Hofners and Danelectros, along with a Vox Mark VI teardrop model. “Some people don’t like the way a Vox records in the studio, but it sounds all right to me,” he says. “It has one of those five-way switches, and that gives you a lot of tonal variations.”

In a performance of "Heatwave" on American Bandstand, Paul Weller played a 1950s Hofner Club 60, as seen in the YouTube video by theaceface.
Yes, especially the 330 and 360. Speaking of which, I remember you were selling or auctioning off one of your Ricks -- a 330, I think -- about three or four years ago. What's the status of your Rick collection today? Do you still have most of the batch you bought in the ‘70s?
No, I haven’t, actually. I think I have only one or two of those left. Some I gave away, some got smashed, maybe some got stolen somewhere along the line. But I’ve kept a couple. I kept the first Rickenbacker I ever got, a little short-scale John Lennon-type model. And I’ve got a couple of 12-string models, which are really nice, and I’ve got a Pete Townshend model, which Pete gave me a few years ago. But that’s about it.

When longtime Epiphone fan Paul Weller debuted his latest album, Sonik Kicks, he appeared on several BBC television specials playing his main axe—a 60s era vintage Casino and another Epiphone that was even more rare but just as striking--the Epiphone Dwight, an alias for one of the great unsung rock guitars of the 60's, the Coronet.
Weller's "Dwight" Coronet, which was marketed exclusively for Sonny Shields Music in East St. Louis (commissioned by owner Charles "Dwight" Shields), sparked renewed interest in the Coronet which like so many Epiphone's from the '60s, has retained its "hip" factor among musicians in-the-know

At the Marshall amplifier factory in Milton Keynes, there's a small museum piled high with musty, well-used equipment. There are original models of the 100-watt amps favoured by Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. There's a white leather model made for Paul Weller with a mod target emblazoned across its front.
