Siouxsie Medley's Gear

"I also play around with some pedals. One of my favorites that I used on the record is a Death By Audio pedal called the Supersonic Fuzz Gun. It's so messed up and dirty sounding. I love it."
Here's an excerpt from Siouxsie's interview with Gearphoria.com - Q. What is your ‘go to’ amp these days? Is it the 65 Amps Rocket 88? A. "Definitely the 65! That amp is my baby. It's huge-sounding and the tone is perfect for Dead Sara. We have many different sounding songs on the record. They vary from ballads like ‘Sorry For It All’ where I finger pick most of the song, to loud, heavy songs like ‘Weatherman’ and the 65 gives me that range of tone. I actually use the amp for tone more then I use pedals both live and on the record"

"I had a nanny who was in a rock band when I was about 8 or 9, and she would bring her guitar to my house and teach me her songs. She was so rad. She never cared about me doing homework as long as I learned a new song or a few new chords each night. I then saved up my money and when I was 11 bought my first guitar, a sunburst Fender Stratocaster. I then started writing my own songs and making up guitar riffs and recording them on an old four-track."
